No, I don't consider my self a criminal. Other than these bs Cannabis laws I haven't done anything that's wrong enough for me to be considered a criminal.
But god also said obey the laws of your country. didnt use the word country but that is what it meant. like land where you reside or something.
I don't consider myself a criminal, no. But the truth is I did break the law in order to obtain medical weed for my sister to use last summer, and I guess I broke the law again by smoking it with her.
I'm not the criminal type. And it makes me sick I had to violate the law in order to obtain a medically helpful substance for my sister. These days, I make the choice not to buy weed or smoke it because, whether I agree with this or not, it still is illegal--and because the risk for potential complications to my life, my husband's life, and my career as a physician in training is too great. I fully admit I'm perhaps overly cautious, but the stakes just seem too high for me to take the risk. And besides, I signed an ethics/honor agreement at the beginning of the school term promising I wouldn't use illicit drugs (or cheat or break the law in any other way).
The fact that I can't legally use weed is a source of great consternation to me. I enjoyed the toking I did with my sister last summer. And I enjoyed the toking I did back during my undergraduate years. I have all the makings of a great stoner, and I will forever be a passionate advocate for its use, particularly medically.
I hope I'll eventually live to see the day when cannabis is legal and easy to obtain for people like me. When that day comes, I'll be the first one in line for it.
I don't but my probation officer thinks so for the next 55days.
criminals cant read :)
I've got arrested acouple times but I dont consider myself a criminal, I mean maybe sometimes, not officialy though.
.... no, not at all...
Well, I break the law, which is a crime, so sure, I'm a criminal. I *shouldn't* be, because the laws are wacky, but I am. Ironic, really, because I'm really a decent guy. I don't do anything that negatively affects others. I have exactly one traffic ticket in my entire life. I've gone out of my way to never accept help from the government (welfare, food stamps, unemployment), even when I was eligible to do so. I've served in our armed forces, with at least enough distinction to earn a combat patch, a few medals and an honorable discharge. Other than smoking pot, I'm about as UNcriminal as you can get.
Hopefully someday, they'll equalize the marijuana rules with the alcohol rules, which is I think the way it should be. Until then, I guess I will remain a criminal. A benevolent criminal, but still, a criminal.
I'm a hardcore criminal yo'
