Legal age to ENTER a headshop?

Some places near where I live get really strict from time to time. But I'm over 18 anyways so it really doesn't matter:D

at my "down in the valley" you have to be 18 to just look at the pieces and shit in the back of the store. i didnt know that and i walked back there and the dude that was in the front of the store stopped what he was doing and came back to tell me that i cant look and the shit in the back...jerk

well just like you have to be 18 (sometimes 21) to enter a liquor store. a headshop is legally (on the permit) known as a tobacco supply store and you have to be 18 to buy tobacco. therefore you have to be 18 to buy a tobacco accesory. (aka papers and "water pipes") the store owners are just covering there asses. cuz if a cop or someone from the city walks in and theres a minor in your store there going to assume that your intent was to sell something to them. there just covering there asses guys

In the downtown Headshop you gotta be 18 to enter the pipe/cigar area cause thats the law at least here it is.

But to enter the store where just the ciggs and other shit are you dont gotta be.

There's a headshop here in my town called "Waste Land", and you can buy anything in the store at the age of 16, and no proof needed, they just ask if your 16 or older. I've gotten about 3/4th of my peices from there. The other headshop here called "Smokers Club" will card you and make sure your 18, so me and my friends just use Waste Land.

im 17 and my local headshops never ID me... they did once but after i talked to the chicks there for a bit they changed their mind :)... if they are strict, im pretty sure you hafta be 18 to enter.

damn thts shit, in camden in london there are tonnes of headshops in one road like 20, its amazing and they all let you buy shit like pipes bongs and other rellated objects. thats how i used to get all my shopping done. sucks for you though :(
