I have heard that tomatos make good plants to practice on... Maybe it's just because people like the way they look, and they are good for making pizza. :D

I am currently on my own quest for knowlege, and I have to say Nochowderforyou has a good point. When you think about it, it makes sense.

Cramming everything in your head in a couple days and starting a grow would be difficult...

1 Day research on Germinating
1 Day pick a box and get the mylar + fans + thermometer in there
Begin germinating... this gives you about a week to research veg lights and nutes
Begin veg... this gives you about 4-8 weeks to study flowering. :) Plenty of time!
Begin flowering... this gives you 4-8 weeks to study drying and curing, also hash making if that's what you want to do...

Another thing to mention, is the cost of everything will be spread out nicely versus dropping a few hundred bux on a box in one day, and then deciding later you want something different. :)
