Hey nice improvisation, does one bowl of water keep it down significantly the whole day, or do you constantly top of with cooler water. I'm guessing that you don't.Quote:

For example, a room of 3 metres x 4 metres x 2.5 metres high = 30m³ and 30m³ x 20 changes per hour = 600m³ per hour. Once this has been calculated, you can select the correct fan.
If you decide to vent from a hood, avoid cool tubes, try and get an aircooled hood instead, with an open reflector, you lose 10% of the light through any glass shield, not too mention that with shit reflectors the light will bounce all over the place. Cool tubes are actually more expensive, the good one's anyway. Than a good quality open reflector. Keep in mind yeah that even if you are exhausting out of the hood, which takes care of the bulb heat, the outside environment i.e inside the grow room, will need to be exhausted somewhat, you have a 70m3 fan already, which makes you more or less sorted. Just a case of cooling that bulb. What type of fan is that, RVK, or something else? I'd go for silence over just about anything else as well.Quote:

Yeah that should do it, good luck with it man
ok after much work the room has stabilized at 26c, at what height should i put the seedlings into the bubblers and turn them on, currently they are just on a plate in the rockwool cubes they are between 2-3iches tall and a 100% germination rate, the 400w hps light is 80cm away from them and i have 2 cool white cfls near them is this ok for light or do they need to be higher and closer to the light? will post pics soon cheers.

do they look ok?
can a mod delete this thread have decided its not safe cheers
how does someone go from posting a pic of seedlings to saying the entire post is unsafe in twenty minutes?
