If it only gets like that when in the cupboard maybe its a co2 deficiency? I dont know as I am not a grower, but that just seems like a logical conclusion to me.

I did think that, but not too sure how to give it more. I will see if it improves any with the changes i have done. If not i will have to look into the co2. Cheers dood.

mg has like a hndred different kinds of nutes. it can be confusing. for veg i use an all purpose plant food for vegetables (24-8-16) and my four week old plants look like 10 week old plants. helpful for a fast veg.
for outdoor flower, i've used mg all purpose, 15-30-15. always had good yeilds, and decent quality. thhis used to be the only flower ferts i used...
the important thing with mg is to get the kind with no trace elements. these are the kinds formulated for vegetable gardens. works great:)
however, as i havent found anything as good as mg for veg, i have recently switched my flower nutes. i'm now using green lights super bloom. great stuff; i add a tbs of sugar per gallon to help metabolize.
mg is not bad as people make it out to be... if you don't believe me, try it! i still use mg for veg, can't find n e thing better.
for flower, i recomend super bloom over mg. realy helps to blow those buds up:)
well, sorry for preaching guys,
love, kp:p
and stay away from mg soil. wayyyy too much time released. when its time to harvest, your plants are still getting high n no matter how much you flush:(
dude ur plant looks like its stretching alot, move lights closer or get more/better lighting also how much are u watering and what nutes/howoften
It was over-watered! jesus, that was all! the leaves were drooping and going yellow, too much water....
Thanks folks, I thought at first the light was too close because it started to go yellow so i moved it away (250W sodium Halide). I eventually took it out of my cupboard and just let it go with natural light. It has stopped growing now and started to bud. I put it back in cupboard to see if that would help the buds more. This plant is my test run to work out the bugs as i have not grown my own before. I do not have fans set up nor do i have co2 in cupboard. I have since the photos re potted and found the roots to be bound to the small pot size from before as i forgot to free the root ball before re potting :o I will be moving cupboards soon and will be fixing up the new one slightly better.
I tried mg once and for some reason it killed everything i fed it to lol. I water the plant every second day or so if it needs it but do not let it dry out. the soil usually damp to touch.
Keep the help comming folk as i am taking note of all comments and am learning all the time. Thanks again.
good luck with that grow MATE!
Im not experienced but looks like Ndef to me+ over watering+rootbound.
Use a 5-10L pot straight off with some pearlite/vermiculte added to mix this will avoid root problem. I am currently on my first grow and using BioBizz nutes and canna pk13/14 which seem good so far. I havent tried any other nutes yet so i cant compare.
