Money isn't based on the petrochemical industry, it's based on ALL of a nations resources (including petro) that it has available for sale/purchase. We did the system for thousands of years where we based the economy on precious metals, and it was abandoned as an inferior system based on substances given value artificially, rather than tangible and useable resources.Quote:

On discovery channel there is a show about hidden messages in the original Torah(old testament Bible), that has all kinds of stuff on assasinations, war, famine, etc.. Researchers claim to have found a page that gives a year for the end. That being 2012. Now I don't necessarily buy that, but the Mayan calendar, which has been more accurate than any other ever developed, stops on Dec. 21, 2012. This is supposidly the end of the world. When I saw that I was thrown a little. Not to claim I think that this is the truth, but it is very eerie.
The mark of the beast story was distorted to scare people away from experiencing spiritual mastery therefore having better control over the masses, the mark of the beast is acctually the mark of mastery. Plus i dont think people would go for that unless jesus himself made that law.
This actually has a good deal of truth. Christian sects have suppressed many forms of self-exploration, including entheogenic mental exploration, meditation, magic, polytheism, and nature-based spirituality. All these things have been declared "evil" and creators of states of mind that let the devil take control. :rolleyes:Quote:
