The look and smell means nothing, and contary to popular belief crystalls dont mean much either. Only way to tell is to smoke it.
Green bud doesnt mean it hasnt been flushed of ferts, it means it hasnt be cured, or not cured properly.Quote:

Same goes for hairs and unless you have a microscope to examine that shit you'd better just smoke it
If you don't have the oppurtunity to try before you buy, then he's doesn't believe his stuff is good enough for the price. One telltale sign is if there is a lot of stems and seeds, it's not so much the potency but how much actual bud your going to get
As far as that....wet hay like smell doesn't mean its bad weed. Iv bought good looking bud that smelled like that and then I properly finished curing it and it smelled like diesel after....good shit.Quote:
