Just got my first 1/8, wondering how to keep it nice and fresh

well you shouldn't have to dry it but try to post some pictures, and if it doesnt have seeds and stuff in it there is a good chance that it is atleast decent. Also paying only 20 plus the 5 your friend put in is pretty good for 3.5grams, i usually pay 30-35 for that so ya.

yeah if its super dry like nightprowler said hella crumbly then maybe think of hydrating it. but another idea is, if your someone who gets a lot of bud and doesnt finish it like these other fellas in one sitting then find a glass jar (mason jar or maybe a 420 jar) and then go to your local smoke shop and pick up a humidifier for like 2 bucks. tiny little guys you drop some water on then and theyll keep your buds freesh for safe keeping. be sure to open it every once in awhile though or itll get too wet.

yeah an 8th would be gone in 2 days for me, i say chief down, and its not gonna go bad, should stay good for the week or so you will smoke on it

no need to store an 1/8th , maybe in my lungs lol . it'll go quick esp. if it's already as dry as mummy dust .

Don't worry about it, you'll prob. smoke it before it'll ever get stale. I've toked stuff months and months old (which yours may be already!) and never had a problem.

Just put it in a baggy in a drawer somewhere and it'll be nearly as fine as the day you bought it.

Jar is good enough, unless you really want to do the orange peel thing. Weed is supposed to be dried, so I really wouldnt worry about it..

ways to keep weed for long period of times, is put a big ass bud in your bong, fold bag back up... stick back in pocket for latter,... fire up the bong, cash the big ass bowl in one hit... wait an hour or to, and then repeat the prossec...

I can make an 8th last a week if i really have to, but that's with my girlfriend sometimes being mad at me but I do get my hits here and there. Slow week though

It's probably not dry, but if it is, use an orange or lemon peel. But not for too long!
