Ganja Brownies.

Canna-oil is pretty easy to make, just takes a while. Get a crockpot with a low setting, dump a quarter ounce of good buds in it (chop 'em up), put a little more than half a cup of canola oil in there too (so you get enough oil for one pan of brownies), then cook on low for 8 hours or so stirring as vigorously and often as you feel up to, then strain the plant matter out and tada, amber-colored oil.

Wherever the brownie recipe asks for butter, just use that oil instead. Add a bit of butter too (but not much) for a little of the butter flavor.

That recipe scales up fine too, quantity-wise. I usually use 2.5 ounces of good buds, and a 48 fluid ounce bottle of canola oil, and that gives me enough for 11-ish family-sized pans of brownies.

FUCK man 2.5 ounches, thats pricey as!! Plus it takes about 8 hours and I dont really have that much time alone ever.

Could I just put ganj into the brownie mix as if I was making them as normal except with ganj? Or would that not work?

It works, but grind it up as fine as you can, so you don't bite into a big chunk of bud. It's not as tasty that way, with the ground up pot in the brownies, but yes, it works. And yeah, if you were BUYING it, 2.5 ounces is a lot. But mine comes from the ground, so it's just like a head of lettuce or whatever to me. ;)

But even if you did buy it, I did some math, and it's not as expensive as it may sound. Each pan produces 16 brownies, and 2 are a good, strong, 6-hour buzz. That means 8 stong doses per pan, of 6 hours each, or 48 hours of stoning per pan. Multiply that by 11 pans, and you get 88 strong doses, or 528 'stoning hours'. A 0.7 gram joint gets me and the woman wasted for about two hours, and I get about 40 joints per ounce. Since that two hours affects two people, that comes out to four stoning hours per joint, and 40 joints per ounce, or 160 stoning hours per ounce. Multiply that by 2.5 ounces, and you get 400 stoning hours. 528 is greater than 400, sooo...it's actually CHEAPER that way in terms of price per hour of being stoned.

Now, my last quessie, how long does it take for eating ganja to kick in?

Depends on how much food is in your stomach, but 45 mins to 2 hours is normal. I ate a couple of brownies right before bed a few times, and I woke up the next morning still stoned. Had some freaky dreams! ;)

OK, if you don't want to make cannabutter, and you have a brownie recipe that calls for vegetable oil instead of butter, you can use that.

Chop/Grind the cannabis up as fine as possible, and heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan until it starts to make these flat bubbles start appearing and a little steam starts coming off the top. Should take 5 minutes or so.

Then, add the weed, it'll hiss and pop. The oil will turn green-tinted, while the cannabis will turn brown and smell like burnt popcorn. Mix it for about 45 minutes to get all the THC out, then strain the mixture to get as much of the burnt cannabis out as possible.

Finally, make sure the oil has 12 g of fat per tablespoon. The more fat the better, it's what the THC dissolves in.
