Sativa strains are like this and their higher prices reflect the trouble it took to grow them not just potency. WW is ok to grow, i love it to smoke personally. white rhino is a cross of widow and somethin', so its still good.
If she is really growing, 10 bucks a gram isn't a bad deal for her, since you're buddies. If you do the math, they'd probably make profit after selling an ounce (don't know their setup, but someone said they did the math and it cost them like 10-20 bucks an ounce growing)
White widow is pretty white...as long as you can tell its good, i'd pay $10/g and consider it a good deal.
