whats so bad about a male plant?

so if i was to get a male it wouldnt make any bud at all?

Other than the fact that it doesnt produce buds, nothing is wrong with it ;). And no, how do you think marijuana has stayed alive for so long? Male pollinates female, seeds are produced. Life goes on :).
