Have some family in Detroit so I liked it as well, and I'm a huge hockey fan so and this verse caught my eye big time "I live in hockeytown" then had the hockeytown/redwins logo behind him, I'm guessing he was outside Joe Louis Arena. Glad to see he brung something I liked into his rap.
i dont like rap much, but that shit got stuck in my head...
kinda average......nothing really stood out in that song....the lyrics were simple....and by simple...listen to mike jones and thats an example of simple lyrics.. real rap needs metaphors and shit, listen to chamillionaire and you'll get an example of that
its good but he copies the flow from HOLD YOUR HANDS UP HIGH - Talib Kweli and Jean Grae
but its good still
If i had an Mp3 encoder id rip this song, from his first cd, and put it on here.
noone will be disapoointed.. all original.
thanks for the comments, if you dig it, pass that shit around with his myspace or something..
That song reminded me of that BIG and 2 pac track, hell if I can remeber the name, but the high voice reminded me of that.
It was an okay track, nothing wow I found. It lacked originality. I've seen and heard it all before. He needs to write lyrics that MEAN something. Something that makes you look at things in a different view, something that makes you think.
If he were to come up with something original and fresh, I'd probably dig it, but I've heard it all before, you know.
