How to make a vaporizer

You probly made it wrong, or something to that effect, because I made one last night, and got fucked off my ass after one little nug. And my tollerance is high as shit... that's why I made it, I read a little while ago that theres a 95%THC transfer rate, if not 100% and your not even burning it..

Just don't use the tube. keep on the cap when your filling it up with smoke, then take it off and inhale. I didn't even bother with the straw, and god damit was I stoned. Only problem is I got too baked, and fell asleep with it beside me, pretty sure i rolled over it, cause it was fuckin' broke.

do you hold the flame right up against the glass? and how long do you leave it on there before taking a hit?

edit: sorry, but i forgot. when i used mine, it had a sort of burning plastic smell to it...did i just get cancer? :confused:

I held it right up against the glass, but I think that actually might not be such a great idea, because it started to crack a little from the heat.

I left the flame there tell it was completely full and white inside, but keep in mind I put the cap back on if my lungs reached their capacity, exhailed, and finished it off.

With that being said, for the cap I did something a little different, which I now realise would have kept it from cracking, had I used it correctly. I kept the hole I had initially made for the pen tube, and at first, kept my finger over it when I was heating the weed. Then the bulb cracked (although only slightly) from a combination of the heat, and the pressure of smoke on the inside. so then I realised if you keep the hole uncovered, the pressure can escape, but not that much vapour seeps out, so it didn't crack anymore.

I still can't figuire out why it didn't work for you though... cause that's alot of weed to vaporise. But, I've also heard other people complain about it, so who knows... Personally I prefer my bong, but the vape's too good for when I'm at home and I don't wanna the rents pissed.

Oh, and also, I used one big mother fuckin' lightbulb. at first I had this little one, and thought it would be chill cause it was one of those green color lights. Then I looked behind it on the shelf and was like.. "Ohhh shit." It was one of those big round ones.

But since that one's broken, I just have a regular one I'm making right now..

Edit: Burning plastic!? describe the lighbulb, it sounds like you used the wrong kind, but i dunno yet. And no, no you didn't, you have to breath in alot of one particular carcinogen to get cancer, atleast to my knowledge.. like asbestos for example... smoking random shit apperently can kill you, chemicl depending though.

it was a sylvania like reading lamp type bulb that was frosted. i took out all the shit like in the video and did the salt thing. also, i rinsed it out like a bitch after doing the salt thing (there was still some moisture in it when i vaped the weed, could that be it?) and i did the top of the bottle thingy and just left out the straw and covered the top w/ my thumb while letting it vape (i left the flame on for about 15-20 secs.) so...where did i go wrong? Lol i split it w/ my older bro...if that could be anythign? lol

Did you see it filling up with the smoke? cause I waited for it to be fuuuulll... i also used my sisters blow drier to dry it after i rinsed it (lol i rinsed it like hell too) so no moisture in mine.. and it was too myself, but who knows, it could be anything. If you try again, just use a small bud, and hold the lighter there tell it's full as all hell. and if the bulb was too small, you were probly not getting that big of hits, cause mine was a giant.

well mine was like a normal 50 watt or something. like what they used in the vid. btw, all i have left is broken up, and i dont have much left (gotta make a new pickup on friday, ya know?) and i wanna do a wake and bake tomorrow morning (cause of the no smelliness) and such. so i needa fix my problem tonight lol

What is the purpose of the smaller hole in the cap next to the pentube-hole?

There isnt a 100% THC transfer rate, as the bud is still phycoactive after its been vaped.

Joints have the highest THC transfer rate, beating bongs and pipes

And the small hole is so you can suck the smoke through, like a bong.

lol just made one had finished it went over the sink to pour out any drops of water that was still left in and then the bulb fell out n smashed in the sink lol and now i aint got any spare bulbs left. ill make 1 anuva day

When you suck out the air that's in there, more needs to come in, so fresh air comes in that hole when smoke goes into your lungs.
