I dont mean to be the contradictor here, but all you guys bashing the govt an all... what do you suppose happens? Anarchy? ok well if everybody does what they want, were do we get our food? whats to stop kroger or wallmart from charging 500$ a gallon of milk? or some other crazy prices.
whats to stop people from looting and taking over other people houses and fuckin shit up? the goverment has its uses. im not saying its perfect in fact ill say its not even close to perfect, but it sure as hell beats living in some other places. we have a lot of freedoms that others dont have.
but for fucks sake legalize it!
Actually most college students are liberals
and America is better than we all think. we have way more opportunity in this coutnry than any other country in the world. which is why indians work hard to come here and as im sure uve all noticed (a lot are doctors)
its why we have so many immigrants...they all know that here they can make something of themselves while they cant in other countries.
We as Americans do not realize how good we have it and we're lazy so we dont do anything about it ( well a lot of us anyways)
however...there are a lot of things that ARE un-just about the government and im sure somewhere in the constitution it says that if man felt as if the government was working for themselves and not for the people then that man has the right to ablosih it or try to change it (or maybe that was someone opinion, i dont remember)
Not many things in life are perfect. There are a lot of you young guys on here.....why don't you guys do us a big favor...
kick ass in school. Go to college, kick ass there. get involved in the community. Dip your hand into politics. Move into washington. Make a difference.
I'm convinced that if we all tried as hard as we can, we can make a difference.
After the average person goes to college, gets in massive debt, and learns how impossible the system makes it to actually do anything, and how expensive it is to do anything, then you may realize that our government is essentially run by large companies and the top upper class of our society, and if you go to jail for weed and such you won't be allowed to do much of anything in society anyway. Capitalism at its best.
Not everyone is born into money. Start from the bottom, work your way up, get rich and run the big companies.Quote:

nah its not saying anything, becase a lot of people who dont smoke go through the same shit with a lot of debt and stuff.
hey mate, before you start questioning the freedom of america, you should look around the world. thats a bold statement to make just because smoking weed is illegal. wow. what a fucked up thing to say.
actually the only reason weed isnt legal is because the goverment cant make shit off of it...think about it if weed was legal everyone would grow.
Not necessarily. It's cheaper to grow and roll your own tobacco but veru few do it.Quote:

At least thats what I think.
