I agree with GHoST's points too, though - about the educating of others ..lol..I am slowly helping my parents to understand why I a smoke (and I'm 35yrs old ffs lol), even though they still don't totally agree with it. They used to have some very ancient views of what this particular drug was about, and whilst I'm not shoving it in their face (Istill respect their views and try hard not to arrive at their house (too) stoned), I think I am dispelling some of the 'myths' associated with cannabis.
I hope you plan works, IntrepidS, but remember that it is your life, and you must do what makes your life happy (as long as no one else is being hurt) - nice to see a bit of consideration towards other peoples feelings, a sadly lacking trait of this modern world.

Setting parameters for myself
Just to give you guys an idea, me and my friend James have this tradition of smoking a joint every tuesday during our afternoon break. While I said something about school, this is a little tradition of ours that I will not break (but that will sadly end in a few months when I go to another school).
Aaaaaaanyway, so there's this kid named MAtt in many of my classes and I mean we're pretty cool with each other and I smoked him several joints on me in the past. He smokes weed and all, but for some reason he wasn't able to stop himself from approaching me and yelling at my face that I'm so stoned (not to mention near a really hot girl from some of my classes!). He said he was joking and I knew he was, but it still pissed the fuck out of me that he had to go and act like a little kid. Even my friend James got pissed off at him (major pothead right there btw).
Just giving you guys another example of the things that made me wanna do these things.

People that can't keep their mouth shut like that piss me off a lot too, especially trying to act all funny and yelling shit when I'm on the phone or something, but good luck and enjoy your smoke when you do
