Writing stoner comedy

id like to see this =P

I think what would work best is if you had realistic stoner stories. Simply take stories from the Experience section of the forum and put them together into something neat and you have yourself the most realistic honest movie that people can relate to.

I really hate stoner movies with their stereotypical weed humor and dull reactions....

Hah hey guys, thanks for the feedback. Yeah, that's what I wanna do....take realistic stoner stories and put them together, so it's not something stupid like the usual. 'Course, you'd probably have to be high to fully appreciate it lol. The first scene I wrote was from something that happened to me, when I was so high I put my thumb over the flame on the bong instead of the little hole, and didn't notice for like 5 seconds until my thumb was fucking scorched as hell lol.

think about your craziest friends. base characters on them, and theyll do similar shit.

here i got a good one some guys managed to smoke an ounce between the two of them and they had fireworks and burned themselves on it happened to my friend it was pretty funny

Hey, sorry I dont have anything to contribute to your project besides a fat ol' good luck. But I was also wondering what kind of equipment you'll be using? Specifically what type of camera. I'm looking into purchasing a nice camera as videography is an interest of mine and your average handycam can't produce what I'm looking for.

being a film enthusiast myself i thought about writin a movie like this.

a funny scene would be kids going to a convience store with a indian with a thick accent at the counter. indians are always funny when ur stoned and the kids are spending like an hour in the store and the indian says "no time for munchies here! go smoke your buddha somewhere else! you pesky kids!"

Do what I plan to do once I can afford my next weed bag and tequila.

Wait till your parents are away for the whole weekend. Have a fully charged minidv camera with extra batteries (or just keep it plugged in the socket) and invite your craziest friends and have vodka and a blunt to share.
Record yourselves having the time of your lives.
Be sure to record a solo scene of yourself ordering food while high and drunk off your tits.
Record answering the door.
Record enjoying the food (it's fun to watch stoners enjoy their food)
Record them going to the bathroom.
Just record everything that goes on.
Nothing like realism.

That's what I'm gonna do soon.

hah yeah, this is gonna be awesome...there's sooo much material and possible scenarios you can right when it comes to getting high: stuff that happened to you, stuff that happened to people you know, and shit you just make up.
