I love several "atmospheres." I love days when it's cool and cloudy and rainy, especially in late September and October, after we've been through one of our burning hot Texas summers.
I love the rare winter snows we get here because of the way snow reflects light and muffles sound. It's such a special occasion when snow falls in the Dallas area.
More than anything, I think I like winter sunsets, watching the sun go down behind our house, the back of which faces west. I like to sit out on the patio, bundled up in a blanket if it's cold, and watch the light change from late afternoon light to dusk and then dark, when the last remnants of the already set sun color the far edge of the horizon a dark, blood-orangey-red. I don't go back inside until the stars have fully come out. This scene goes especially well with a nice glass of Merlot. I've never tried it with a joint, but someday when I get through requiring a sharp, full-time brain, I may do that.
My perfect atmosphere is
Its 6:30 in the morning.. The sun is slowly rising over the mountain side but isnt over it yet.. The sky is a dark blue but everythign is visible.. Its slightly cool but not cold.. Perfect to sit outside and wonder how great it is to be alive.. Sitting down in a nice comfy chair outside stairing out at the mountain side waiting for the sun to rise so you can begin toking on the massive blunt waiting to be puffed on.
Did it yesterday ><
I've allways liked fall, but nothings like watching the run rise no matter what time of year it is. That early morning haze is why I get up at 5:00 twice a week to go fish before work. That and the fish
I love when it's raining harder than fucking hell with powerful winds and lightning everywhere. I like weather that really reminds you that you're alive.
I really love the clear summer nighttime sky, escpecially when the temperature is just right. You know, those nights where everything in the sky is completely visible. Stargazing while stoned is amazing. ;)
Orangeman, you pretty much said it all my good friend  :D... p3ac3
