I bought a new light, a 400 watt econogro switchable balast, econowing reflector, and the best bulb around- the Grolux tubular enhanced hps, obviously 400 watt. I will flower soon I just need to get a 15 amp timer. I expect to flower within 3 days. The new leaves on the skunkxhaze mother are light green and wrinkley, my guess is light stress from the cfls I used temporarily or overdose of phospherous.

These are all pics of the Hplant in a 6" cube. I've topped it twice in total so it should gorw 4 colas, thats all I'm gonna top it.

The largest one is the oldest one (the one that was smaller than the others).
The others are rooted but aren't growing super fast yet, the tips of their stems are still reddish. I noticed when the entire stem of the small one turned from red to all green it grew ridiculously fast.
I would appreciate any suggestions/comments. Peace.

Looking Nice:thumbsup:
How many days did those clones take to root....I'm gunna clone with roottech but i might use peat pellets....can you transplant those rockwool cubes directly into soil?:stoned:
How much was the switchable ballast?:pimp:
Hashplant is one I want to eventually grow...your plants gunna be the bomb:stoned:
The clones took 1 week to root. But I invested in them with- rootech, jumpstart cutting accelerator (advanced nurients), a humidome, and a heating pad from wall greens, and 6500k flourenscent light (mogul base). Remember, sativa dominant strains are more responisive to humidity and root faster.
If you want super fast results for your clones use jumpstart, its a low output foliar feed, moisture sealant, it has some type of rooting hormone, and a bunch of supplimental vitamins. if you use it I don't even think you need a humidome because it's a moisture sealant.
Yes you can transplant the rockwool cubes straight into soil. But I would advise you wait till you see roots so you can keep the medium sterile.
The ballast was only 145. The nonswitchable hps one is 130, I dont get why everyone doesn't buy a switchable ballast and save money in the long run.
Hplant is not a largely marketed strain because it seems to kill itself. What happens is that the plants side colas are almost as big as it's main cola and when the resin glands burst the dripping weighs the lower branches down and can break them or the stem. When you do grow it make sure to use steaks when you flower it. Ok, I guess I'm done chewing your ear off. lol.
Take her easy man.
Nice informed grow. I herd that Hays is a little tricky to grow, has it given you any problems?
Adieu
Haze is funky cause the leaves grow in wierd patterns. Right now they went from 7's to 3's and it's stopped growing upwards. Also, the newer leaves are light green and wrinkled, I don't know exactly what this is from. Look at my previous posts for pics of it.
Peace.
They say that they respond a little different to normal nute feedings, maybe this is it.
