My first job I ever had when I moved here was working in pork slaughtering/process. plant. I worked on the kill floor and my job was to pick up the severed pig head, slam it on a spike, and remove the skin from it's face, and remove the eyeballs. It was like an ice cream scoop kind of. You just wedged in behind there, pulled out, cut the eye veins (can't remeber the name) off and put them in a bucket.
By the end of the shift, I had a 5gal. bucket filled with eyes. They then took those and made animal food with them. Along with other parts.
