These are all good examples of great bud that has orange hair on it but I dont know if were talking about the same thing. Does the orange stuff look like the pictures above.

But anyways you are probably good. I have onky seen moldy bud 2 times but it was never orange and fuzzy more like dark brown or black.

no not orange hairs this orange was more of a web then just hairs. im sure im fine tho since i didnt smoke any of the web but i did smoke some of the bud

maybe it was some popcorn bud and hair usualy looks like a web or somthing when the calyxes r small or 2 far appart, pistils look like they stick together.

perhaps if you posted a pic of ur stuff we could tell

no I know for afact it wasnt jusr orange hairs and sadly, I flushed it down the toilet before i could get a pic but if i have it in my next half o i buy ill take one.

Simple, dont buy wet weed.

1] If its done by weight, your being ripped off so much its funny.
2] Never seal wet weed. Wet & Dark = Mold > DEATH. [Or extreme pain]

If you are ever unlucky enough to get ripped off with wet buds, hang em up untill the stem snaps easily, and then you can smoke it.

Also, wet weed isnt as potent as cured buds, and the curing process activates THC, and breaks down chemicals such as chlorophyl, so you dont get a plantly smell/taste.

well i was thinking, ive read about the orange peel method of making them a little wetter, to give it that sticky feeling incase your bud is too dry, and i was wondering, would that decrease the potency? I dont think so, but still asking.

No, but it makes it a little bit harder to break up in the end, and it does way a little more from the moisture. Just watch out if you buy weed that smells like orange peels.

I'm glad I've never had anything that looked anything close to that disgusting moldy bud.

Yeah what he said ^

but when you're buying a bag you should really do more than just smell it before you buy... if the weed seems a bit strange and you don't trust it (damp, too little ect) just tell the guy you're not interested. There's always other people around who sell.
