Thats great news C of green, I also have a new cab that I am constructing. Here is a PiC, its 3'X1.5'X1.5'. I will be start my next grow in her but I have to buy a 150w HPS first >.<...

so i am at lowes today and i strike GOLD!!!!!70 watt hps on sale for 15 fucking dollars!!!!!gotta do it. i know i said i was goona go super cheap for expierimental reasons but how can i not?didn't have the cash on me so i have to go back SOON.but to keep it ghetto i found a broken window in the trash that i am going to use as a heat shield.gonna need a new fan.so my grow will end up costing 50ish bucks.still damn cheap and it has been spread out over about a month.

P.S.i will be putting pics of the outdoor girls on here soon so keep your eyes open.i still cant believe i got a 80% female rate:D must be doing something right:D

70 watt for 15 dollars......wtf....i must find that...

I think I know what you are talking about but $15 is just for a 70w HPS bulb, you need and socket and a ballast that are made for these types of bulbs :o .
Most people that buy their stuff from lowes buys the $50 floodlight that has a 70w HPS or you can go $80 for the 150w HPS floodlight. The Floodlights have the right socket and the right ballast that light these diff bulbs :p .

nope the whole set up.got it.the girls will be swimming in it as soon as the lights come on.i am doing 7 am to 7 pm dark.so about an hour and it is playtime!:D had to rewire it though due to a photosensory switch(turns the light on when it is dark)still gonna keep a few cfls in there to keep everything tight.i will put more pics up once everything is mouted.also checked the outdoors today...had to pull a hermy:( still got a nice number though.some 7 footers some 4 footers all ladies though.

so you know it was on sale 75% off dont know why i am assuming it has a ballast heat prob(another reason i rewired it but it should be at all lowes if it is a defect

i also found a shop close by with foxfarm ,earth juice and all the other goodies for my next grow

Thats great news man, how many watts is that bulb pushing? Your outdoor plants are looking good. By next near, you can have I big mother plant of your choice on veg for as long as the veg season takes and you can take cuttings from her and clone many plants at once. SO thats 1 harvest every 2 months if things go right. I know you lik the sound of that :dance: and so do I, Nice progress...

got the light set up,but not how i want it.the ballast is in the box and the heat sheild isnt up.....gotta fix that tomorrow.by the way it is a 70 watter.i have to get a new fan to circulate air cuz mine doesnt work anymore:( figures get the hotter light and no fan.i ended up going back to the store and looking at the lights they had there to see how to rewire it.so it still has the switch i just put tape over it so it always seems dark.:thumbsup: cant wait to see how much differance it makes:dance: i took out some of the cfls..still have 50 watts worth though.i will put pics up when i have it right

light was to hot wilted some plants,melted my carbon filter.FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!:(
