isolator hash is made with the dutch version of 'bubble bags'... generally it's made with dutch pot (trimmings) which means that it usually ends up being far more potent than imported hash. but of course, potency isn't everything. and nothing is nicer than a fine handmade hash from Jamaica,Turko or Morocco or Lebanon or India...
but of course foreign hash has such a range of quality, it's hard to know what you're getting until you smoke it. usually isolator hash, when bought from reliable sources, will be priced according to it's quality. only the most intense bubble hash will sell for around 50/60 $US a gram in my area ... usually it's about 15-35

Check out The Viper Room, if it's still there, in A'dam. They'll feed you magic mushrooms and you'll go on a rolercoaster ride! Not really, but the mushies they'll feed to you! :)

Do they sell peyote at The Viper Room?? I want to become experienced with the sacrament before I join the Native American Church, that way I will be ready for my Mexican Peyote Journey when I come back home.

ice-o-lator as it's usally called is made with the same process as ice beer, i'm not sure exactly what they do to make it, i was extremly stoned when i was told. i pay about 15 euro per gram in holland.

Does anyone know of some good places to kick it at in Amsterdam? I don't want to be seen as the typical fat lazy american tourist who can't handle his weed. I want to meet the locals, and meet some ladies possibly. I don't want to pay 50 Euro for her time, either :) Where are the non-tourist coffee shops in the dam?

My perfect coffee shop would be some place that plays good music, has a laid-back atmosphere, excellent weed and somewhat quiet.

Do many people speak French in Amsterdam? I don't speak dutch but my French is excellent. I wonder if French would be useful.

a lot of dutch speak french but they speak much better english

global chillage is a great shop, thet tell you how much dope is in each muffin, most shops want tell or lie, there dope isn't the strongest but is nice and mellow, very relaxing place

this place is totally chilled out, the staff are very friendly, helpful and very knowledgable about weed/hash. doesn't normally get too busy considering i've never found a better shop, this is my no.1 must visit shop, and on a good day you can sit outside by the canel and smoke the day away.

this place sells some fine blow, buy 5 grams get it cheaper, try 'jack herrer' or the 'temple ball' music here is always mellow, doesn't get to crowded even though it's within a stone's through of the red lights, go there in the day there's a lot of dealers in the area at night

de rokerij, amstel 8 or lange leidsedwarsstraat 41(the shop at singel 8 is nice but can be very busy)
amstel, this is a small shop but doesn't seem to get busy ambiant music, good dope, i've been a few times and each time there's a beautiful girl or 2 working there. :thumbsup: very nice.
l.leidsedwarsstraat, has the same dope as the other rokerij, but this place has a few little places you can sort of hide away, again same sort of music, can sometimes get busy especially weekends.

there's a few good one's to be getting along with, these are some of the most chilled coffeeshops i've been to.

someone has mentioned 'grey area' i hatted this shop they tryed to rip-off both my friend and myself, the weed was wet, totally uncured, the hash was spelt wrong it was 'harsh' very much so. in my opinion a very bad shop. just around the corner is

really good weed not so great hash, musics ok, just outside whore's standing behind windows, this place is not in the main red light district

dutch flowers, oh yes! give me more. possible the best shop in the dam.

grey area :confused: no way this place is a tiny little rip off shop. we were given wet weed, shity harsh hash, this is a shop i will never go back to. :(
