All the past games on them seemed good because of time we were at in our lives. Current generations of fans have new games and new consoles that they consider classic already. Games like Halo, Half life, Doom, Quake, etc...
Time moves on. So the greatest game console ever? Well, that would currently be the XBOX 360.
golden eye is the SHIT! i still get high and shoot at my friends. for the snes i like the rpgs, final fantacy, crono trigger...... ect. as fpr the ps1 i enjoy tony hawk proskater the origonal. (because thats the only ps1 game i own). i can run through the whole game in just under 2 hours.

snes and n64 changed the world. they brought joy into my life for so many years. ah the good old days, when it was all about soul, not flatscreens and whizz bang graphics.
mr. myamoto: I salute you! (& thanks for the memories)....
I have a PSX. I have to say that I have a few systems that I think are better.
Atari 2600 - C'mon.. you can't argue with this.
Sega Genesis - Large number of fantastic games.. Sega Channel made this system king in my opinion, until it tanked.
Dreamcast - Great graphics with one of the best controllers I have used (until the XBox)
N64 - I got the system so I could play Goldeneye, Mario64, and Mario Kart 64.
As well as the 32x, Sega CD, Virtual Boy, and Nintendo DS. There was nothing on the PSX that I couldn't enjoy more on a different system.
SNES all the way
donkey kong country was absolutely revolutionary
super mario worlds
super mario kart
zelda
super punch out
teenage mutant ninja turtles
sooo many awesome games
