Tell me what you think guys
So thats 8ft of verticle overhead right? well you area is a little tight for a HID fixture, so looks like CFL's are your only option. LSTing is the way to go, what strain are you growing? If you get really cramped LST and scrog. But the great thing about LSTing (if your careful) you can even do it while their budding without any consequences.
I am going to grow TOP 44 indica from NIRVANA seeds.
And ye, hid fixture is bad.
I think I will scrog the vegitation for 2weeks (i expect 7 seeds to pop up) then LST them. Untill they are very short and bushy i will force flower them (4-5weeks veg) and i shall throw out the males and expect 2-3 females.
Hopefully only 2 otherwise i will throw out the weekest one.
Then flower them as long as i can and have space for.
Ferts... if i give them ferts it would make them grow bigger? But if i dont give them any/enough ferts they would stay lower but might suffer a litle? Or can they live with compost soil?
get about 8-10 of those 42W=150W bulbs
GG23
I use energy saving 23w bulbs that give the same power as 2x60
my next question i about reflectors... On the Jorge Canvas DvD he explains many different reflectors. But i dont know which one is best for this grow. He used a low duty blue reflector for his 200wat cfl's
Thanks Guys Fot all the help given to me.
My next questions i will post on a new topic.
Thank you again for the help
