Talk about Pearl Harbor. Look into the years preceeding 1893 and following in Hawaii... We grew more sophisticated in our expansionism.

If you didn't sleep through history you would know the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor AND they were not going to surrender. Many Allied lives would have been lost if the bombs were not dropped.
