I have one of those for the side lighting in the flower room.
They work really well for veg.
Get it close.
Like 6 inches away.They do get slightly warmer then regular Floro's.
Good lucking out everyone. i am gonna do a combination of lights, all cfl. if i have to get a ballat for the loa light ill just get an already ballat one like pastor420 suggested. Any suggestions welcome. It is my first well put together grow. it is planned for sept 1 so be on luck out
