I have leafs that start with burn on the tips then Move to the whole leaf very similar to your plants. My Ph is 6.5 to 7 I have only feed my plants water for a few weeks now. Becasue when I satrted out I gave them too much Nutes and this turned all the Veins purpal and stunted growth. Should I be considering to feed the plants again? The leafs are still starting Geen then slowly after a week turing yellow and Looking very similar to his plants. Is nitrogen found in my Plant food? I guess it might be time to start giveing them small amounts of food again. Ill try and get som picture tonight.
Sorry to add to your thread but It seems I may have same problem.

Uh oh. If you don't know the components of fertilizer, and haven't read the freaking bottle to find ou twhat they are, how do you expect to handle the more complicated problems that growers encounter?Quote:

Yeah I should have known that.... I am learning. haha thanks for all the help with thsi and other problems I really appreciate it. I know I actully know more than I think but am kinda scared to use any of it. but I have basically considered this grow a throw away and am using this as my experment crop. I am gonna try training some plants and I imagine I will torture my plants some other ways as well. but next grow I will have all the info needed. Or at least see a better result. Im my weed plants and in my Balcony garden as well as i can kinda apply this knowledge to that garden as well.
Thanks again as you ahve helped me more than others in the past few weeks. Ill mail you a BUD. If i end up with any at all...
Thanks

your numbers on your ferts such as 20-20-20= N-P-K
N=Nitrogen, P=Phosphorus and K=potassium. This should
be one of the first things you learn when starting out.
Don't be afraid of your knowledge. Apply it. Then you won't even think of this as a throwaway, just as a starting place.Quote:

i will now just water my plants for about a week and then start added ferts again. should i continue with the feeding program i had b4 or was that heavy feeding the cause for all these problems?
thanks
heavy ferting is what lead to the low PH, just ease-up on them for awhile, that flushing you did will help immensly, they look really good, but the damage that is done probably wont go away/get better, the plants will just continue to grow healthy. Check that PH every week, words to live by IMO. 6.6 is probably fine since they were low for so long, you may want to gradually raise it a bit, the 8.2 on top should dilloute over time (as long as they are getting fresh water). use just water with a bit of lime (to raise it a tiny bit) for the next 2-3 waterings and check the PH between waterings.
here are some pics of what they look like now after all the advise, i have removed all the effected leaves now too.
can thank you guys enough, was getting very worried.
i will take it bit more easy from now on.
new pics up here
