and the beatles are not in any way over rated. u cant say that lennon and maccartney as song writers cant write songs u obviously havn't had the time to listen to them probly

I'm pretty sure I've heard almost everything they ever recorded,I never form an opinion without first finding out about the thing and believe me there have been enough people try to turn me on to them without success.

btw Nor do I like Oasis, I think Lliam is a complete tosser and can't sing.

I stand by what I said, imo Lennon and McCartney were nowhere near as good as their press.

I simply do not like the Beatles music,nor do I like any of their solo offerings (The Frog Chorus FFS!) and Woman is the most contrived piece of pap ever.
If John Lennon was so clever how come he ended up with Yoko? :D

Bob Dylan was imo a better writer as was Pete Townsend.
