As a criminal justice major I could see the papers already; ??Boy kills family
with weed, judge sentences him to double life for parents?? death.? LOL
sorry I guess that is a bit extreme.
A note from my world; I have had to buy cabinets, but I wish I lived in an
area I could grow outside. Originally I am from Huntington Beach CA. and I
have heard (Kotton Mouth Kings Blend) some folks grow some serious plants
there outside. Do you live in an area that gets enough sun to grow outdoors?
Stay fresh,

thx for all the encouragement guys :(
what i want to know is what could go wrong and burn down my place?
anything that i can buy to put around a box so its fireproof? thx for the help.....i think....shutting down all my dreams lol, peace out
In all honesty I??m not sure if your whole house would burn down or even if
you would be in immediate danger, but electricity + water + bedding = a bad
idea (if anything were to go wrong). In a perfect world we could just walk
outside drop a sprout in the ground and tend garden with out repercussions,
but I doubt that will be happening any time soon.

Man, you guys will say anything to stop him from doing it, huh? :D
I say go ahead, if you know what you're doing there is little chance you could burn your house down. Be careful.
I think the only thing you'll have to worry about is the smell, if you can cover that up your in the clear. Start growing right now, if it turns out you were wrong and it starts stinking, you could always get rid of them... Good luck.
ahhhh thats what i want to hear lol....thx a whole heap rainman.....i think im gonna go for it....i really think i know what im doing and it wont b a fire hazard.....and if i burn down my bed.....i guess u guys have the last laugh...
thx and peaceout
Uh, why ask if you can do it if you're just waiting for someone to tell you what you want to hear?
This is what can and will go wrong:
You're trying to grow in a real tight area.
There's electrical cords, lights, and fans around.
You're going to be watering your plants.
I bet there is almost no one who has been growing for a while who HASN'T inadvertently spilled water on something that shouldn't get wet... I've popped circuit breakers before, I'm sure I will again, you will too. That's why in my state the bathroom and kitchen, where there is water, are required to have not only regular breakers on the main panel, but GFI breakers on the outlets in the room. That's ground-fault interruption. I had the circuits in my growroom changed to GFIs for just this reason. And I installed another smoke alarm. And now I sleep better at night.
And what if a cord heats up? Someone I know had their house burn down because a power cord got kinked under a piece of furniture and shorted. They weren't even growing, it was just a regular lamp cord drawing low amps.
I really believe that for the amount of bud you're going to get with a tiny tiny grow, give yourself a chance and find a nice outdoor space where you can have big beautiful plants.
i guess it is dumb asking something and i just argue till i hear what i want to :o ...i think u might b right about the outdoor thing. but i think i still might try this, if it stinks ill put it outdoors...if not...ill prolly still put it outdoors to get a good yeild lol...but i feel confident enough i wont burn down the house...mayb ill wrap the cords in electrical tape...would that do anything? lol...plus ill b watering in a different area....then putting them back under the bed...a little cramped under there to water plants lol, anyways i think im going to give it a shot....keep an eye out for a journal i make lol....peace out
nick
whatever
Yup ive def popped a few breakers. No one here is trying to shut down your dreams but if you look at what you are going to get out of this under the bed plan, vs finding a nice spot outside for the same amount of effort you could have a difference between 1/2 an ounce and 1/2 a pound. I think everyone here is just trying to explain that you growing affects more than just you and that there are real consequences with this hobby of ours. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
