ESSAY- Police state: Has common sense taken leave?

I can definatly beleave in that sort of stuff happening. I had a first hand exeperience with a cop like that. I got pulled over in McCook for what I found out later was a busted tail light. Anyways the cop comes up to the window I roll it down,and shut off the diesel becuase hes pretty serious looking. Usually when you get pulled over the first thing the cop will do is ask you if you know why you got pulled over. Well he didn't so Im like "Whats going on". He whips out his pistol and holds it six inches away from my face. Then he says "Get out." I don't instead I ask him wtf his major malfunction is. He cocks his pistol. So I get out of the vehicle. He starts searching my shit. McCook cop cars have cameras that record audio.So I walk over to the camera and say, " This fucking storm trooper has A,pulled his gun on me, B has not made clear the reason I am pulled over,C is searching my shit with out stating proable cuase or providing a warrant" The asshole notices what I'm doing about half way through I got the rest off after being thrown to the hood of the car and being told to STFU or your going to jail. He sticks my smokes in front of my face and crushes the pack in his hand drops it in front of my face and then is like " your free to go" , "have a good night". Then proceeded to write out the fix it ticket and hand it to me.I wasn't in a good mood at this point. I respond with " Go fuck your self". Officer " What " Me" you heard me pigfucker" He spots a lady maybe in her thirties walking by. He yells" This Kid was disturbing your peace" The lady took off sprinting. While this going on I'm starting my pickup.He sees this "Your not free to leave" Well he had just told me a little bit a go that I was, so I put it second and spit gravel, hit the first country road I saw and halled ass all the way home on back roads.

I should of sued that asshole but I didn't have the funds at the time and I don't have a personal lawyer.
I was not under the influence of anything that night. I looked like an upstanding citizen. He had no reason to treat me that way specially pulling a gun on me. Crushing my smokes made me see red. I wanted to hit him very badly but I didn't. I may of lost my cool but that was after he threw me on the hood of his cruiser.

But ya I can totally see that happening. On the other hand I like our local cops. Half the time I get pulled over I BS with them for so long that they forget what I was pulled over for. The only solution to asshole cops is to not be afraid of them. This reminds them that they too are governed by law, and it might stop them from pulling that kind of shit on other people. That treatmen still pisses me off. If I saw that cop again I might have the urge to stick a flaming rag in his gas tank, becuase he is dangerous.
