that happened to me onetime i was in my yard(I used to live in the last hous on a private road in the country) and i was digging up the sod for where i was gonna put my veggie garden. next thing i know i didnt even hear it cu it must have been flying really low this black copter just pops up over some trees like 200 ft. away at most. I just stopped what i was doing smiled and waved at them. then just stared at them like wtf ate you guys doing. then they left. saw a state chopper do the same thing except they didt stop as long and they were further away.

that little white camera looking thing is an infrared sensor. maybe one of your "friends" made an anonymous tip. it certainly seems like they were checking your place out. btw did you see what was written on the side?
