There is a fascinating book on the history of the Pennsylvania hemp industry called Hempstone Heritage. While the book isn't about "weed", it is essential history that people should know. It was written by a local author named Les Stark, who happens to be from my hometown. Les is working hard to make hemp legal again in Pennsylvania and is urging everyone to get up to speed on this info. You can buy it off his website HempstoneHeritage.com
A good book for learning how to grow and that is packed full of information, such as this. "In one town in Virginia a farmer would be fined for not growing hemp". This book is the Marijuana growing guide by Mel Frank.
Other good authors are:
Ed Rosenthal
Mel Frank
Jorge Cervantes
...(there are others but I'm too lazy to go to my bookshelf)
