Congrats, Friendowl! That's great. I used to be a paramedic, and the dispatchers have a huge role in saving lives before the medics can get to them. Sometimes you have some big-time dramas, too. We had one dispatcher who'd delivered two babies by phone (by walking them through what to do). Have fun juggling all the calls! Hope you love your job.

When we had the phones that you had to turn around, 9 was the furthest away so why did they make the emergency number so hard to damn well dial lol
