Try on your moms shoes for a day. Shes just scared. You must not forget that you are your mothers child and shes probably scared something bad will happen to you. I'm a mother myself. And though I smoke myself the thought that my son one day might want to trie scares me to death! I've tried all kinds of drugs and I know the dangers of not being in controle. i fell your pain. as i smoke this bowl. give it about two weeks and then you can smoke. ive been cought countless amounts of times.

It's either smoke secretly and risk paranoia constantly, or try very hard to show your mums the truth.
If you manage to convince her, think of the wonderful possibilities... Smoking in your room... smoking while she's home... smoking WITH her and relaxing her and making her understand the reason of weed...

Haha thats a bit like me. My parents don't have a clue about anything! I've got a whole second bullshit world... a bullshit phone book a bullshit set of friends and a bullshit life.. they think I have dvd nights at friends houses on friday and saturday night muhaha.

Probably a good idea due, I was always shit scared of me folks as me mam's an doctor so antidrug bullshit 24/7. Best thing to do is just back off for a bit and be a bit more careful next time if you don't think she'll come around. If you do then remember you won't get anywhere with your ma unless you present a well planned argument but even then if she aint budging...

Oh, and dude, remeber, get a budbomb, the best for covert ops I've found.

i have found through experience that the best way to convince anyone that theyre in the wrong state of mind about something is to make them ask themselves why they think what they think. to be completely honest, if you have a wealth of weed knowledge and you get into a lengthy conversation with your mom about why weed is illegal and why all illegal things arent bad, you can win it. i started and won a lot of these conversations while establishing that i was a responsible person with "drugs" and voila, theyre ok with it now.

try to get your mom to explain to you why she has the viewpoints she does. example:
why is it bad if i do weed its just a plant.. etc etc (not a real question, already know her answer)
well its illegal
why is it illegal? (also not a real question, you know the gist of her answer)
because its destructive and bad and makes you forget stuff (lol..)
why isnt alcohol illegal?

if she chooses to answer the last question you know youve already won. even if you dont get an answer, asking that question in that context means youve pretty much won. anyone answering the last question in that context blatantly admits that the government has control over what people think is right and wrong with regards to substances (and much more also..)

just an example, please dont write it down or something :P
