It wouldn't take massive amounts of money to put some decent, effective security on the border. But wait.. the Congress, Senate, and Executive Branch is made up of all Republicans!!!! YAY!!!! They'll get that border secure right? That's the conservative thing to do.. Wait, I guess not.

thousands of miles of land for tunnels, camo wearing illegals and corrupted bribed US agents...

well,
I think a narrow border like the one found at central america would be much more cheaply and effectively protected....

Yeah, I figured that. My point was more that it's not really a choice for us to make at all. If the U.S. made the offer I am 99.999999% sure Mexico would tell us to fuck off. Of course, we could always just invade Mexico, crush their government, and make them succumb to our wishes but we don't do that. Um.....I guess we do do that now. The fence (double layer wall)that they are considering would cost about 12 billion from Texas to California. ALL the costs were in a previous thread where me and Gumby were "debating" the issue.
