Anti-vir PE is much better than AVG for free anti virus program.

I am so used to AVG and have it on 3 puters... I will try your recom and see if it catches anything,always a good idea to change up and see...

being aware of what you are doing is the best anti anyone can get... AVG suits me I guess because I know even "without AVG-Free" ,,,I am being invaded...

I guess it is a matter of preference,Web based check are fine... The real plus in web based is it does not take up your PC's resources to continually monitor...

Try Prevx1 I've tried Spybot, the yahoo anti-spyware, the mircrosost anti-spyware etc and Prevx1 got stuff those wouldn't

i use trend micro often, how ever i downloaded a trial version of spytracker? or i think thats what it was called " damn weed ", but it was much better for spyware then trendmicro. I still use trendmicro for virus scans.

I run Spywareblaster and Spybot Search and Destroy. I have zero problems. get it from download.com

i like a2, asquared you get a month free or something but mines been on forever.

ad aware SE, and spy bot are the 2 best free apps
