I'm most definetely stocking up if it becomes illegal where i live. Get a HUGE stock of leaves and airtight seal them, plus some 5x, 10x, 15x, and 20x. I'll probably grow it too because in most laws it's still legal to grow as a house plant, just not ingest.
There's also loopholes in the way most of the laws are written too... the plant ingestion is illegal but the active chemical Salvinorin isn't... it's messed up.
skarz - I've never researched salvia laws in particular, but most drug laws in the US function by banning the active chemical and anything that is designed as a mean of ingesting that chemical. With common plants (and salvia is rather common), it's often pretty easy to sell the plant in a usable form as long as it's labelled creatively, usually as incense.
