Can't say enough about new hortilux eye

Sorry relic, I bought a cheap light setup and it came with a bulb from China. Damar I think, cheap bulb. You could get your hand within an inch or so with out burning, not the hortilux it will burn the shit out of you at almost a foot.
Sorry I had to go back and check, They are just over 6 weeks. If I were to judge this grow over my others, in tuning things in. Yea I got close to a pound now. It will be more. I got 8 OZ's off one plant that got burned on a 400 light and then changed up to 1000 cheap bulb. It's in my grow here ( how's my girl ? ) I will keep this going to document like the other one I did. Yes relic they will be dried and cured to the max. Only way and you ain't bringing me down. It's all good . Info is the key. I have seen newb's think they got alot and end up with a few blunts.
Opie I like your AK47, I got some and they will be next on the list. I have papaya, and white widow moms, with a nice strawberry cough I hope is fem. My misty is stunted so time for AK47. Keep the Questions coming, I like it. I will keep the pic's coming.

Watts watt 1000watt=1000 watts, What type of amp meter and volt meter did you use, Data , Data, volts x amp = watts
strain is the biggest thing with weight, Lowering the rh helps them make more resin which does not evorpate (sp)
6-7 to 1 is usual with a good batch no stems no larger (shade leaf) trimmed to the bud.
As with any production its grams/watts/months, the bottom line $$$. Now using thumbs , a rule of thumbs, only works with the thumb, owner. Note size hand 6 has smaller thumbs than a size 13 . Note I have gotten 36 in arm size buds off a thunderfuck buds. God I would love to find that strain again.
Note China bulbs hummmmmmm,:mad: great for cops, to find your grow room:mad: .
Also note that time is part of how much heat the bulbs get to. :thumbsup:

oldsanclem, Good to hear from you. It was greenlee meter. No really I can see where you are coming from man but the difference in bulbs is amazing. I have AC, A huge dehumidifier for a house, that can bearly keep it down to 40 or so. I was stoned, that why I didn't put my finger print out. lol. I will put some thing in the pic's next time that everybody can size. China bulb came from a hydro store on the net inside US. The hortilux is hotter in 5 minutes than the cheap china bulb in 5 hours. It's running my little AC to death.

ive had a look at some hydro shop sites (australian ones) and havnt been able to find anything on them. ill give a few shops a call tomorow and check it out.

im currently using this globe, much diffrence between the 2? lol
im a bit unsure of how diffrent types of lights affect the growth.

misk it sounds like you have a metal halide, good for vegatation. They are kind of fat around in the middle. The new bulb I got is a hortilux eye. Made for comercial growers. http://www.accessdiscounts.us/grow-light-bulbs.html
The 600 is on this page. it's a hortilux eye, SKU-66073. The Son Agro are good too but i have not tried one yet. These are high pressure sodium, just for flowering. Hope you can find one and no worries mate.
