There's an all girls Catholic School in my city where every year that is what the seniors due for a day or 2. They camp out on the side of the street and are basically homeless for a day. I think its to teach them what its like to be homeless. I kinda know what you mean though. It would be humbling to live as a homeless person.

I have been on both sides of the street and the big diff today is,,, I am more thankful than most of my Suburban Domicile life...

i liked in the woods for a week and a half once. i would have stayed longer but i got discovered:(

In 9 days... I'm gonna be a drifter. And work odd jobs to make money and somehow make it to india. I'll be in amsterdam too. You should check out woofing.org, organic farms that give you food and a place to stay for not alot of work. Doooooo it!

It's mostly trying to teach you that useless technology is in fact useless...I don't know. Like cellphones or those motorized things that spin lollipops or most info-mercial products. You get the picture...
ive always loved the woods, and i have always spent alot of time in them, mostly cause i could walk to them just by crossing a small high way, but after spending most of my life in the woods, ive always wondered what it would be like to be a drifter of the city.
I'd last an hour out there. I'm a pampered product of my society. I'm thankful for the things I have and I sure wouldn't want to give them up. If anything ever happened, I don't know what I would do. :(
I was homeless for 2 years.. it was amazing,,. the best time of my life... IT made me so strong and compassionate for the world.. now I am filthy rich...

wow I guess call me a wimp but there is no way in hell I would want to live homeless on purpose.. I guess I am quite comfy where I am at, and thank god it is not out on the streets.. Personally I would be freaked, but hey I give you props for doing it and good luck to ya :) Stay safe..
