every1 has their own way of communicating and if u try to communicate just liek everybody else only means your being social. It all depends on who you are and who your around most of the time. Everybody has certain slang and a way of talking with their friends. It's not a present day thing. When I was in high school, 20 years ago, we talked different from most adults too. And even now, I can go to work and discuss contracts and purchase orders all day long, but if I call an old friend I'll instantly revert back to the speech I used way back when.

What I don't get is the clothing today. When I was in school if I dressed like the kids I see today( pants that are 5 sizes to big, shoes untied, goofy ass hat cocked sideways) people really would have thought I was retarded. I know fashions change, and some of the stuff in the '80's does look pretty funny now, but it at least it looked like we knew how to dress ourselves. What's the point in looking like you don't know what size pants to wear? Oh well, I must be gettin old :(

The people on BET look and sound absurd too. It just looks funnier and is more annoying on wiggers. But the whole culture of hip hop produces terrible clothes, always has. Look back in the late 80s, people wore clocks around their necks, because they knew what time it was.
Those who are mispelling stuff on purpose and saying shit like "get your hair did" look like idiots. Sure hope you really can spell, because your resume is going to end up in shredder if your fake ebonics is just a cover for being unable to read.
