Hahah. Good point. Alright, I'll send an email in a sec.
The PCT community has lost one of our own this week with the death of NO Way Ray Echols. He fell over the edge of the trail by Deep Creek in So Cal
Bad Year
Lion King, PCT '06, reports "Recycled" has also died on the trail. Trails, though maybe not "untracked wilderness" are, nonetheless, not without risk.
I am saddened to lose another member of our small community to a trail-related cause. Last year we also lost John Donnavan in the San Jacinto Wilderness after he became lost during bad weather.
Please be safe and watch out for each other out there, especially when the trail conditions get difficult.
damn i cant wait to go hiking.its gonna be memorable
All of these postings really build the hype.

I am thinking of getting off work early on Friday and camping to get climatized and that way I can start the trek to the peak earlier. Have you already reserved your site?

Gonna do a little cardiovascular training this weekend to get ready for this hike. I want to make sure I will be ready, cause I want to summit this bitch. My other friend that is going, just left on a cruise today for Alaska for 7 days. When he gets back... and has to do this hike....he will be hating it
