Lowryder seeds

Mountainman, how many seeds do you get from a pollinated Lowryder? Ive pollinated the whole plant (well, rather stupidly, my whole closet got pollinated...) and I was estimating around 60 seeds because its not a very big plant. Got a White Rhino on the go aswell, so Ill be pollinating that with a Lowryder - or if it turns out male, pollinate a Lowryder with the White Rhino. Either way, should be an interesting cross...
Oh and for anyone who wants seeds, youll have to wait until I put the thread up in the Growers Lounge. Putting it in there so that only people who really are gonna grow these will get them - not a bunch of kids that are just gonna smoke them and try and get high offa them.

Well, I need to find out just how cannabis releases its seeds. Im guessing its like any other plant; when theyre done theyll just pop out. When that happens, Ill put a note in my sig saying that the handouts will start in a few days so that everyone knows.
Ooh, and Id say Its got another month max - but it could be a couple of weeks longer. So, youll definately get them in time for the summer - Ive heard that you can get a lot more from them outdoors than indoors, unless youre growing them via hydro or aero.

From what I understand, the seeds should rattle slightly in the pods. If you pollinated your whole plant, you're gonna get alot more than 60 seeds, way more. Mine won't be ready for pollination for a while still. I won't have seeds available until likely the middle to end of June, but we'll see.

When you're pulling out the seeds, you basically have to pick them out of all the bud surrounding them.

Hey Tom, are you saving your pollen? How long did it take for the pollen sacks to open?

I'm in somewhat of a good situation, as my two plants that are 2-3 weeks ahead of the others are showing their sex now, and they're both male. So, I'm thinking I'll let the sacks burst and then just throw the plants in paper bags to isolate them, dry them, and save the pollen.

Oh, and perhaps you could give a picture or two or your plants?

I havent taken any pics in ages (cams broken) but heres some pics of the pollinated female and the male that was used from a few weeks back. It took about 35 days for the male to release nearly all of its pollen.
And nope, I didnt save any pollen. There wasnt really any left to save! Methinks I made a mistake in doing that... now my whole closet is pollinated. Oh well, just means Ill have to grow more Herb to get more bud.

I hear you. I'm thinking of maybe just putting all my lowryders to seed this time around. I've got a sea of green cab that's putting out bud right now, so no rush on the lowryder. As long as I can get a crapload of good seeds.

Right now I've got two males under my 400 watt light and another as of yet unsexed plant. Then I've got 5 plants that are still under flouros. Should be able to produce several hundred, if not several thousand, seeds if I put them all to seed.
