No GK i didn't use a tripod i probably should have, instead i fired off a few shots and picked the best.

I have a sony 5mp cybershot. And its a 15x jewlers loupe you can see round the edge, simply pushed over the camera lense. I have a 30x pocket microscope but the focus is so close its useless for the camera.
Here is a pic with my 2.sx loupe and the better cropped version.
