I can understand this facing land races such as shitty Mexican Schwag, or Ruderalis, but why some good weed like Trainwreck?
Saying that sounds like any high-potency weed is due for extinction. But, I don't get why you would say something like that. I mean, when was the last time you heard of a good quality, popular product just vanishing?
Help me understand what your underlying thought was, please.
Thanks!
wait.... purple haze weed has a kind of purple color to it? does silver have a silver color to it as well?
Actually, some of the most potent weed available is purple. I got some medical grade Purple Erkal a while back that was almost too potent. The type of stuff where one hit will get you so high you don't dare smoke a full joint by yourself. :stoned: Not all purple weed is good though. I think the fact that some is soooo good has led a lot of people to think that anything purple is great and that just aint the case.Quote:

Keeping a pure strain going indefinitely is tougher than you'd imagine. From what I understand, you can only clone a plant a certain number of time before it starts to have problems like turning into a hermaphrodite. That means to keep a strain going someone needs to devote a considerable # of plants to seed production and these plants must be isolated to prevent any potentail cross polinization with another strain.Quote:

Eventually it stops being profitable for a seed company to keep a strain going so the focus on the new ones. Thus, the old strain is gone.
you guys should all check out The Big Book of Buds there is such thing as purple haze but if its purple it doesnt mean thats what it is ive smoked purple bud before and it sucked balls
