my 400hps scrog(ww) used to yeild 10-14oz and my cfl scrog yeilded 4-5oz. when you put the screen on you puswh it onto the plant so a 16 inch plant could be only 8-10inches after the screen is installed. i have had plants that were well over 3ft tall be shortened to 20" or so after installing the screen. i always had better results pushing the screen onto a larger plant rather than letting a smaller plant grow up to the screen. good luck with the landlord.
ohhh ok i always thought u let it grow into it do you have any links to the style of scroging you use i realy like the result and if i can get 10oz on a 400hps with 2 plants that whould be sweet but im not shure what kind of plant it is inka or what just purple bagseed not shure how it is going to react to the screen but i think i got 2 females so far and one more way smaller to show sex still but the girls (i hope) arent showing any hairs yet but they have phat sticks kinda with no balls so im pretty shure think i might give through the small one away or force flower it and if its a female give it away as clones or what but im not gonna have room for it expecialy since it is so much smaller in size it cant be in the screen pluss its streching cause the light is high for the other plants.. i also had to raise the lights again... lol
also seed i seen how you used 2'' wire and you made it down to smaller with twist ties.. are they regular twist ties for like bread? just thinking of not wanting to redo stuff due to the plant streching and pulling on the ties. i just wana get the most out of this as i can but still trying to keep it low key and low budjet that is the trickiest part also do you have a link to any good scrog 411?
you can buy sturdy twists at home depot, it's just a long roll of twist ties.
a tip for keeping the smaller plant from stretching is putting someting under it to raise it up to the height of the other plants, i used a set of legos for this.

yea but the only thing is if i keep it under screen they will grow at diffrent rates it whould be alot smaller then the other when they are done cause the flower time is still going to be the same right? just one plant will not yeild as much as the bigger ones... or should i just use it for clones if it turns out female and scrog with them later when the time comes? how long does it take before clones are ready for a screen? just wondering if i have enought time to scrog these 2 and and wait till they are done and then through the clones under the screen. i know clones dont take ass long cause you dont have to wait for it to sprout and all that but how long. ive never worked with clones before but i like the idea for the clone bubler you did with not useing hormones and if i could keep a mother that whould be awsome then every time the scrog finishes i slat 2 more in there... also you said you had 6 plants in a scrog that size before? how much room can one plant use if trained right? for a 4x4 space on a 400hps how many plants whould be perfect and get the most out of it?
the number of plants makes no difference to the yeild as long as the screen is full. depending on how big the plants were i would put 2, 3, 4 or as you mentioned even 6 plants under the 2x4 screen. the yeilds were always about the same. anywhere from 10oz with the worst harvest to 14oz was my best harvest.
it doesn't matter if one plant is bigger than the other just use something to raise the smaller 1 up. if they are the same strain they should take about the same time to flower.
now to answer your question about clones. clones take anywhere from 7-21 days to root depending on the strain. once rooted you put them in 16oz keg cups or similar container. i used promix. they take 1-3 days to get used to the "dirt" and begin growing. then it's up to you how long you wanna veg for.

soo as an update i am down to 1 plant i gave the little buddy away and i am only left with 1 female outa 4 plants there goes the superthrive makes females i was reading lol wel she is sitting in at 22'' hopefully i will put the screen down soon before its too late she is growing very strong ive been holding back on the superthrive ive only been giveing her superthrive every other water witch is about every other day or so do you think a 400 hps whould be to much overkill for one plant? even if i let it veg more to let the screen fill more? just a thought
alright so heres an update witch pics going to water with superthrive tonight after the last water was pure h2o hairs started pooping up on certain branches so shes telling me shes ready but im not looked at dressers tonight found something that will work perfectily but its $130 wich sucks but o well gota do it
