Got a new bulb

One thing I have noticed since I switched bulbs, my plants aint doing anything as far as I can see.. Atleast with the MH on 12/12 I could see a change everyday ....now its been 3 days with new bulb and I see NOTHING....WTF...peace

Well there doing somthing, or the bulb got hotter than the other one cause 2 of my grow tips on one plant got burned...(frown) the rest are peachy though , will the burned ones recover ? It looks like the white hairs turned brown also ..(frown)...SHIT..peace

I started my flowering 3-28-06..12/12 at 4-14-06 I got the bulb talked about above. Have been using the bulb ever since, dont know if using the mh for 2 weeks before i got it messed somthing up or what but all I see is a little stretch, its already been almost a month....what gives God i wish my conversion bulb didnt get broke

Iv seen ditch weed have more bud per stem ..lol

just a note and not sounding liek an asshoel or anythign but if you come on an no one replied yet it's ok maybe they don't want to say somethign that could be wrong, but you can also edit your thread to add on to what you previously wrote, just makes it less long i guess you can say, but maybe you're not seeing anythign cause in a way you tricked the plant, i mean you were growing in one spectrum then moved to a larger spectrum....just my take on it though

If its giving of a lot of heat you dont want it to near your plant and if it is burning the tips you might have a bit of heat sress going on there so get the bulb away from the plant.Move it away about 18 inches and do the hand test.This may be the cause of the plants growth slowing down imo.The postman.

Thanks man, its like 9 inches from the main tips now and the temp in the closet is 88 and stable with the light on off its 69-72 .. I put a bigger fan in the closet , seems to help... it doesnt get hot on my hand till i get like 3-4 inches from the bulb, I dont know what happen...lol Seems like when i water they grow crazy good for the first 1-2 days then nothing till i water again. there in 3 gallon buckets and i water every 4 days ....Buds r getting fuller now , thank god ...I was hoping this wasnt going to be a waste this grow , with the bulb problems....peace

i found that with temps above 85 the growth drastically slows. i tried to keep it in the mid to low 70's for optimal growth. sometimes it's hard to achieve this but that is how you get the best growth during flower imo.

Ok, thanks for the info, well im gonna stick a A/C in the window of the room the closet is in , that will bring the temp down...lol I keep making changes to better my grow and it makes more problems...lol Iv been growing for 10+ years and now im having more problems than ever . I know why though , im trying to get the best yeald for the electric/money spent now , before I didnt care /didnt know it could be a lot better. To tell you the truth, i was happy to get 1/4 oz of dry good smoke off of one plant a year ago. Now I know better, before was a waste of my time....peace
