Instead of keeping you away from the guns,yer husband should be training you in their safe use. And if you have any children,10 years old or more,they should be trained in the safe and responsible use of firearms as well. Back in the frontier days,the whole family participated in their self-defense,even if it was just to load the ammo and pass a gun onto their husbands and fathers. The same holds true for survival skills too,everyone inthe family,should know how to start a fire,several different ways,as well as construct a shelter and provide safe water and food,basic first-aide,should be taught as well. All Americans,should be more self-reliant and capable of doing these things..in my humble opinion.

Assuming the "facts" cited in that article are true. It's intent is more about racism and fear. Why would the author pen the following?
"Meanwhile, millions of illegal aliens work, shop, travel, and commit crimes in plain view, utterly secure in their de facto immunity from the immigration law."
Seems to me that's written with the intent of having me see illegals through the same lens... consumers, but hmmmmmmm, also theives, rapists and murderers!

My wife and I talk about it for tornados and other events.

At about 1 a.m., a suspect approached the two officers from behind and shot both of them as a large crowd was leaving the building, according to police. Neither officer had time to return fire before falling to the ground

Seems like a lot of mexicans have no respect for animal rights..bullfighting, chicken fighting..the ones i've known ate copious amounts of dead flesh every time i saw them. So, I'm all for closing the borders.
It's our country any way and it's not like we have a lot of jobs to choose from as it is...but something just seems wrong to say they should leave/cant come here, especially if they're paying taxes and contributing to soceity :twocents:

Fine, then close the borders! I'm all for secure borders, but that's not my point. We have illegals here because killing the underground economy (fat chance) of cheap labor will put a hurt on business. It's that simple. Most of these people squeezing through the fence just want to work and they'll take jobs that americans won't. Just remember that these immigrants you hate do the jobs that you Amerikans don't want to do...such as cleaning shit, fast food restaurants, waiting tables, stocking shelves, working in the fields, etc. They don't work in air conditioned offices while you sit in your slave cubicle crunching numbers. Shit I work in a miserable office answering phones and I would rather be outside in a field then listen to people bitch about broken crackers.
