Turtle,
I ended up putting all the plants back into separate containers.
The grow is still growing in 1/2 a closet space. Here are a few pics taken today and yesterday...any thoughts on how far out from harvest I am?
sorry, my last reply was intended for busteruk 7
I set up a big rectangular container, it's 19"x14" by 9" deep. Even though the surface area isn't that big, this thing holds a ton of soil. The soil is a mix of coco coir, perlite and wormcastings, plus some bat guano and minerals rock soil amendments. So I think there's only enough surface area for four plants, maybe six if I tie them down, but they're going to have a lot of root space.
sounds interesting cryspyfeids can we see any pics. thanks the postman.
The idea is not to grow huge plants with this method of building Gardening containers. I'm sure Soma never grew big gaint plants in those .Just small sized or SOG.
I'll try to get a picture.
go for it! :D
I've put the picture in attachments, I'm not sure how to upload pictures on these forums yet, let's see what happens.
And sorry that nothing is growing in it yet. The plant that's in the corner of the photo has a bunch of spider mites that I just discovered, so I've got to get those under control before I put anything else in my box.
