Canadians also have to beef it up as well. Canadians are also allowing the Drug War. Amerikan activists can only do so much. Canadians needs to understand that marijuana is way more tolerant, depending on the province you live in, than in the United States so Canada is ahead. Most Canadians simply do not see marijuana as a problem, but understand that prohibition is the real problem. Alaska is the only state in the US that allows personal possesion of up to 4 ounces of marijuana, but it must be in the home. Nevada and Colorado are about to vote for statewide legalization...so tolerance may go more towards Amerika soon. Expect a bitter battle though between state and federal laws. Canada can handle legal marijuana. The Vancouver cops knew that Da Kine was selling for awhile and it actually got the other hard drug pushers off the street! There were no problems and they minded their own business. When they closed Da Kine, back came the coke and heroin dealers. One person said he liked having Da Kine because he didn't have people whispering in his ear "marijuana" when he was with his child at a park.
Howdy Great Spirit!!! I'd say that pretty much sums it up. Nicely said!!:thumbsup:Quote:

Remember, they are going after Marc Emery the ACTIVIST...not Marc Emery the seed seller.
??Today??s DEA arrest of Marc Scott Emery, publisher of Cannabis Culture Magazine, and the founder of a marijuana legalization group- is a significant blow not only to the marijuana trafficking trade in the U.S. and Canada, but also to the marijuana legalization movement.
His marijuana trade and propagandist marijuana magazine have generated nearly $5 million a year in profits that bolstered his trafficking efforts, but those have gone up in smoke today.?
Emery and his organization had been designated as one of the Attorney General??s most wanted international drug trafficking organizational targets ?? one of only 46 in the world and the only one from Canada.?
??Hundreds of thousands of dollars of Emery??s illicit profits are known to have been channeled to marijuana legalization groups active in the United States and Canada. Drug legalization lobbyists now have one less pot of money to rely on. (http://www.dea.gov/pubs/pressrel/pr081105.html)
