I used to call my friend, Tori "Dollbaby" and she'd call me "Babydoll"
My exgirlfriend never call(s)/ed me anything but "Babygirl"
My best friend calls me loads of things, specifically "Bitchface" but in a loving way.
I called/still call my ex "Pookie" because he's this big italian guy. Like calling a bulldog "Fluffy".
My other ex was "Babe" and he called me "Baby", if I ever called him anything else he'd get emotional and upset -raises eyebrow-
I call everyone pet names though; love, darling, sweetheart, sweetums, dolly (my fav.), pet, sweety, lovely, dollface, munchkin for kids, honey, pookie, (name)yface lol.
In study hall I renamed a lot of people, but that's more nicknames..Some kid was "Twix" another "TicTac" another "Curls" lol yanno.

i call my girl bitch or ma
and she calls me babe or dad
or sometimes my nickname is fuckyouihateyou

I read this book that documented human behavior by a zoologist (using the same methods that they study animals with)

It said using pet names and "cuddletalk" appears to be instinctual human mating behavior!

(I think the name of that book is The Naked Ape)

We just say eachother's name in a foreign accent hahaha. My real name is Katarina so he says it all like ... katarrrrriiinnaaaa. Or Kati. Other times I call him "dahling." like we're in a 40's movie. It rocks.
